a month passed by w/o me noticing

breaking out of my cocoon
i look around and realized
everything, including me, has changed
seasons come and go
now being rather more humid
then when i went into slumber
i look to the sun to give me strength
then flapped my wings and took off
it's been a long time
but the wait was so worth it



yes
as you can see my measly attempts at metaphorical writing has failed
the discussion in my mind this morning being whether i was more of an arts or science person
the arts side citing my usually poor results at science subject as its main argument
whereas my science side cites my interest in science subject
in the midst of the heated discussion i barged in
why can't i be both ??
my mind went blank for a moment
and i gave up
i'm neither
i suck at both

am now rather addicted to sudoku
addicted meaning i think about whippin out my ds and playing sudoku whenever there's nothing nice on tv

oh yes i forgot
today is sharmin's b'day
